Caitlin’s V-Stitch Scarf
Materials Needed:
- G (4.0 mm) hook
- 100 g DK yarn, any color
- I’m not sure on the yardage/meterage for this. The yarn I used didn’t have any listed on the label. If in doubt, use more than 100g.
- Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
To Begin:
ch 28
Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn
Row 2: ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc in 2nd stitch from hook and in each st across; turn
Row 3: ch 3 (counts as dc), *sk 2 sts, dc-ch1-dc in next st*, repeat from * to * across, 1 dc in last st; turn
Row 4: repeat row 3
Row 5: repeat row 3
Row 6: repeat row 2
Row 7: repeat row 2
Row 8: repeat row 2
Alternate repeats of Row 3 (3 rows) and Row 2 (another 3 rows), until the scarf is as long as you want and/or you run out of yarn, making the last Row 2 repeat only 2 rows.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
Optional:
You can add an edge or fringe to this if desired. I didn’t simply because Caitlin didn’t want one!
